Billy M. Crane Funeral Services Held December 14 

Billy Michael Crane, 27, of Groesbeck passed away Monday, December 11, 2006. 

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, Dec. 14 in the Little Flock Baptist 
Church with Ray Grissett officiating. Burial followed in New Hope Cemetery. 

Billy was born in Teague to Tommy Joe Crane, Sr. and Betty Jean Carpenter Hirth. 
He graduated from Groesbeck High School and had attended Sam Houston State.  He 
was employed by Vaquero Services. 

Billy is survived by his son Clay Crane of Waco; mother Betty Hirth of Groesbeck; 
three brothers: Tommy Crane, Ronald Crane and Randal Crane, all of Jewett step-
brother, Steve Hirth of The Woodlands; step-sister, Julie Hirth of Florida. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Joe Crane, Sr., step dad Jimmy 
Hirth, paternal grandparents Robert and Blanche Crane, maternal grandparents 
Ira and Daisy Illene Carpenter, step-grandmother Rosie Brown. 

Pallbearers were Clinton Little, Todd Pruitt, Kelly Cox, Keith Rand, Cody de 
Cordova, Ty de Cordova, Jerry Staggs, James Wayne Halford. 

Groesbeck Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
