Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Fairfield Recorder - April 7, 2011 edition EUNICE WILLIAMS CROW Funeral services were held last Friday at J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis for Eunice Williams Crow, 80, formerly of Fairfield, who died March 30. Interment followed at Elm Branch Cemetery of Bardwell. Mrs. Crow was born September 30, 1930 in Ennis to Jay and Willie Mae (Alexander) Anthony. She grew up in the Byrd- Ranking community and graduated from Ennis high school. Mrs. Crow met and married her first husband, James “Jim” R. Williams while working as a nurse’s aid and together they had three sons. They lived in Ennis, Baytown, Hubbard and Fairfield, but she moved back to Ennis many years after Williams’ death. She then married a former classmate, Ted Crow. Mrs. Crow was preceded in death by her parents, husbands James R. Williams and Ted Crow; brothers Nolan D. Anthony and Owen J. Anthony; and sister Gladys Lyle. She is survived by sons James “Randy” R. Williams and wife Janet of Edgewood, Larry Jay Williams and wife Carolyn of Fairfield and Michael David Williams and partner Guy Vardeman of Carrollton; grandchildren Jim, Wesley, Nathan, Rachel and Alex; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were David Anthony, Michael Anthony, Wesley Williams, Nathan Williams, Alex Williams, Jim Stephens and Jason Scott. Officiating services was the Reverend Irvan Anthony.
