ONE NEGRO KILLS ANOTHER SUNDAY

Last Sunday afternoon, Simm Henry col.[colored] went to the home of Mac Crowder 
col. [colored] living on Wood Lotts place on Brinkley Slough about 13 miles east 
of Fairfield. Henry was armed with a shot gun and he fired one load of No. 4 
shot into the body of Crowder, killing him instantly. Henry was placed in jail. 
We understand he claims to have fired in self defense.
