Rev. Clifton S. Crystal

Funeral services for the Rev. Clifton S. Crystal, 67, will be held this
afternoon at 2 o'clock in Taylor's Chapel Church of God in Christ of Wortham.
Officiating will be the pastor, the Rev. Tas Betts. Burial will be in Sessions
Cemetery-Kirvin. Dorsey-Keatts Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Rev. Crystal, who died Friday in Mexia, was born in Freestone County on June 4,
1936. He attended schools in Wortham and was preceded in death by two sons -
Clifton S. Crystal, Jr., and Michael S. Crystal; and by his parents - Samuel
Crystal and Estella Lou Palmer.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth Crystal of New Mexico; three daughters, Etta Jean
Wakefield of Dallas, Phyllis Crystal of Dallas, and Shadonna Palmer of Lubbock;
a sister, Estella Washington of Wortham; a brother, Fred Crystal of Houston;
eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends.
