IRENE CUNNINGHAM
April 9, 1926 - April 20, 2012

BIOGRAPHY
Rebecca Irene Cunningham, 86, of Fairfield, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012 
in Fairfield. Mrs. Cunningham was born April 9, 1926 in Knoxville, Tennessee. 
She had been a resident of Fairfield for fifty years. She was a waitress and 
for many years worked at the former Awalt's Restaurant. She married Anice 
Cunningham in 1941 and he preceded her in death in 1993. A son, Jeffrey Lynn 
Cunningham; two sisters and five brothers also preceded her in death. 

Left to cherish her memory are three children, Rebecca J. Hughes and husband 
Elton of Fairfield; Brenda Sue Cunningham and husband Jesse Gladden of 
Fairfield; Jimmy Cunningham and wife Gail of Fairfield; nine grandchildren, 
Justin Cunningham; Tiffany Cunningham; Abbie Cunningham; Jamie Cunningham; 
James Cunningham, Jr.; Kenneth Hughes; Keith Hughes; Teresa Phillips Wolfe;
Cody Hughes; eight great-grandchildren, Olivia Hughes; Avi Hughes; Kaitlyn 
Hughes; Bailey Hughes; Mira Wolfe; Kevin Smith; Jacob Smith; and Jordan Smith. 
Mrs. Cunningham cherished and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren 
very much.
