Sarah Nannette "Nan" Cunningham

Funeral services were held last week in Buffalo for Sarah Nannette "Nan" Cunningham, 
84, of Buffalo who died June 9.

Mrs. Cunningham was born March 31, 1924, in Hearne to Dalton and Mae Griffin Mears.
She was a longtime resident of the Buffalo area, where she was a member of First Baptist 
Church and worked as a grocery clerk.

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, at Memorial Funeral Home with 
Travis "Bo" Davis officiating.

Burial was at Buffalo Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jason Scott Carr, Johnny Johnson, Ray Cunningham, Dewayne Johnson, 
Tommy Cunningham, Chon Cunningham, Jerry Jones and Jason Coots.
Mrs. Cunningham is survived by two sons, Gerald Wayne Cunningham and wife Freda, 
and Garland Ray Cunningham and wife Linda, all of Buffalo; a daughter, Sherry Gail 
Gilliam and husband Jerry of Buffalo; a brother, Garland Mears of Colorado; a sister, 
Bobbie Spell of Georgia; 25 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-
grandchildren.

Arrangements were made by Memorial Funeral Home of Buffalo.
