Nettie Cyrus

Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Cyrus, 85, of Streetman, will be held this
afternoon at 1 o'clock in Moore's Angelic Funeral Home Chapel-Teague. The Rev.
Freddie L. Cyrus will officiate. Burial will be in Webb Cemetery at Kirvin.

Mrs. Cyrus, who died Saturday at her residence, was born March 16, 1917, in
Shreveport, La. She was a retired farmer and was a member of Shiloh Primitive
Baptist Church of Kirvin.

Surviving are three daughters, Glory E. Cyrus of Streetman, Birdede Jefferson
of Streetman, and Martha Nell Cyrus of St. Paul, Minnesota; five sons, Riley
Cyrus of Dallas, Vernon Cyrus of Dallas, Joe Cyrus of Streetman, Henry Lee
Cyrus of Dallas and Ocee Cyrus and wife, Ruby Lee, of Pleasant Grove; two
sisters - Gladys Lynch of San Francisco, California, and Irene Lynch of
Bakersfield, California; 41 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 12
great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Riley Cyrus, Vernon Cyrus, Henry Cyrus, Ocee Cyrus, Thornton
Zimmerman, Joe Cyrus and Kenneth Cyrus.
