Freestone County, Texas Obits John Raymond Dailey John Raymond Dailey passed away Sunday, December 31, 2006, at his home in the Point Enterprise community, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Teague (Freestone County, Texas) on June 19, 1933, the son of the late John C. Dailey and Vera Wiggler Dailey. Mr. Dailey attended public schools in Forest Glade and the Mexia Independent School District. He also served in the U..S Navy. Before his retirement, he was engaged as a contractor in oil field production. Before his illness prevented his regular participation, he was a faithful member of the Pentecostal Church and an active deacon. He enjoyed an interest in ranching, as a sideline to his regular employment. Survivors include his loving wife, Mary, of 45 years; three sons - Brent Johnson, Jack Johnson and wife Pam, and Jimmy Dailey, all of Point Enterprise; a brother, Richard Gerald Dailey and wife Bertie of New Braunfels; a sister, Billie Moss Bouldin of Normangee; three grandsons, Gary, Cory and Aaron; two great-grandsons, a numerous number of near relatives and a great host of close friends. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at Point Enterprise Cemetery, with the Rev. Tom Prentiss and the Rev. James Harrington officiating.
