Emma Lee "Sista" Dancer

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Lee (Sista) Dancer, 73, of Mexia, will be
Thursday afternoon, Dec. 22, 2005, at 1 o’clock in St. Luke United Methodist
Church. The Rev. Billy Freeman of Mexia will officiate. Burial will be in
Woodland Cemetery (Limestone County).

Mrs. Dancer was called home on Friday, Dec. 16, 2005. She was a member of the
Order of the Eastern Star, and was born on Nov. 15, 1932, in the Simsboro
community (Freestone County).

Family visitation has been scheduled for Wednesday night at 7 o’clock in
Dorsey-Keatts Funeral Home Chapel. Dinner will be served at Dorsey-Keatts’
Fellowship Hall, following the service.

Surviving are a brother, Lloyd Allen of Groesbeck; four children - Diane Thomas
and husband Gerald, Sylvester Dancer, Jr., Terry Dancer and wife Barbara, all
of Mexia, and Melody Dancer Samuels and husband Glen of Houston; two
grandchildren, Chimere Dancer and Gerald (BJ) Thomas, both of Mexia; one
great-grandchild, Christopher Bradley of Mexia; and a host of aunts, nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends.
