Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Lillian R. Daniel Lillian R. Daniel, 86, of Fairfield, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in Fairfield. Services were held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Grace Tabernacle Church in Dew with Apostle Travis N. (Bo) Davis and Pastor Jimmy Davis officiating. Interment followed at Dew Cemetery. Mrs. Daniel was born September 24, 1926 in the Lanely area of Freestone County; to parents Falcon and Alma Parish Allen. She was a lifelong area resident and a member of Grace Tabernacle Church for many years. She was a volunteer for the Senior Citizens Center and drove dialysis patients to Palestine for a number of years. She married Wesley Ray Daniel on July 18, 1943 and he preceded her in death in 1991. In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by a grandson, David Mitchell Davis; two brothers, Richard and Travis Allen. Left to cherish her memory is her two children, Peggy Fern Davis and husband Travis (Bo) of Buffalo; Jimmy R. Daniel and wife Aurelia of Buffalo; two sisters, Madelyn Lane and Lucille Williams both of Lanely; five grandchildren, Jimmy Davis and wife Carrie of Buffalo; Michael Daniel and wife Vickie of Buffalo; DeAundra Mullins and husband D.W. of Humble; Tammy Lopez and husband Chuck of Dew; Paul Daniel and wife Kimberly of Buffalo; eleven great-grandchildren, Natalie Hays, Christopher Mullins, Jennifer Daniel, Hannah Mullins, Chelsea Lopez, Melissa Lopez, Seth Daniel, Andrea Daniel, Elizabeth Daniel, Josh Davis and Jacob Davis; one great-greatgrandchild, Sydney Hays. Pallbearers were Kenny Young, Ray Sanders, Michael Story, Bill Pennington, Nolan Glass, David Fowler and E. W. Allen.
