Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Fairfield Recorder May 05, 2007 Fredrick Clyde Davis Funeral services were held Saturday, April 21 in Gladewater for Fredrick Clyde Davis, 52, of Gladewater who died Tuesday, April 17 at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview. Mr. Davis was born March 1, 1955 in Fairfield to Effie Turner Davis and the late L.D. Davis. He attended school in Fairfield and also Kilgore Junior College. He worked as a machinist, and attended St. James Baptist Church in the Red Rock community near Gladewater. Services were conducted at noon, with Rev. Sam Lawson officiating and Dr. Rev. Rickey Moore, Sr. as eulogist. Burial was at Gladewater Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Randy Hawley, Anthony Johnson, David Thompson, Chester Graham, Jimmy Johnson, Anthony Gordon and Elvin Ray Gordon. Honorary pallbearers were Carl Roney, Neil Roney, Grover Roney, Curtis Hamilton, Tommie Lindwood, Chris Johnson, Levell Davis, Robert Daniels and William Daniels. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 27 years, Mona Lisa Davis; a son, Fredrick O'Bryan Davis; his mother, Effie Davis; brothers Jimmy, Otis, Levell, Darrell and James Davis; Sisters Josephine, Pamela Griffin, Cindy Fantroy, Dolly Ann and Kathy Britt; five nephews, eleven nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; mother-in-law Delores Johnson; fathers-in-law Earl Johnson and Thomas Davis; brothers-in-law Norris, Michael, Hermon and Lyndon; and sister-in-law Louvenia Davis.
