Jo Ann (Graham) Davis

Jo Ann Graham Davis was born to Jim B.. and Dolly Hol­land Graham, January 27,
1936 in Freestone County near Buf­falo, Texas. She passed away February 9, 
2009 in Groesbeck, Texas.

Jo Ann was married to Arthur Davis who preceded her in death in April 2004. 
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Joe H. Graham, John B. Graham and
sister, Mabel Kate Baker.

Jo Ann was a long time member of the Woodville United Method­ist Church and 
a member of the Gleaners Sunday School Class. She was employed for many years
at Herman Hospital and Diagnostic Clinic. In her retire­ment years, she 
volunteered at the nursing homes in Woodville and provided home health care 
for many in the area. In addi­tion, she was a foster parent for a number of 
children.

She is survived by one broth­er, James Duncan Graham of Friendswood and five 
sisters, Coella Graham Moore of Teague, Mary Schoenemann of Houston, Helen 
Rommel of Splendora, Della Baker and Betty Godby both of Buffalo; and many 
nieces, nephews and step children.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2009, at 11 a.m. at 
the Magnolia Cemetery in Woodville.

Woodville or Providence Hospice, 107 E. Commerce, Mexia, Tx 76667.

Services were held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.
