OTIS LEE DAVIS

Funeral services for Mr. Otis Lee Davis, 57, of Mexia, Texas, were held on 
Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church in 
Fairfield, Texas. Rev. A. L. Thibodeaux, Pastor, officiated and burial was at 
Pine Top Cemetery in Oakwood, Texas.

Otis Lee Davis was born on June 4, 1954, to L.D. and Effie Lee Turner Davis in 
Fairfield. Otis was a resident at Mexia State School most of his adult life.
He spent five years at Fairfield Nursing and Rehab. Mr. Davis was a member of
Pine Top Methodist Church. He passed away on October 30, 2011, in Fairfield, 
Texas.

Otis was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents T.J. And Dollie Gibson
Turner; Paternal grandparents Loston and Ola David; his father L.D. Davis; his
brothers Walter Davis, Freddie Davis and Stanley Davis.

He is survived by his mother Effie Davis, his brothers Jimmie Davis of Dallas,
Lavell Davis of Rockwall, Darrell Davis of Dallas, James Davis of Fairfield; 
his sisters Josephine Davis of Plano, Dollie Davis of Dallas, Kathy Britt and
husband Lyndon of Glenn Heights, Pamela Griffin and husband Harman of 
Fairfield, Cindy Fantroy of Fairfield; his aunts Pinkie Green of Teague, Lela 
Haynes of Dallas, Margie Mims of Dallas, Ezra Moody of Dallas, Gloria Blair 
and husband Rev. Wendell Blair of Dallas, Verdean Turner of Dallas; his uncles 
Ernest Davis and wife Leatrice of Dallas; a host of nieces, nephews cousins 
and friends.

Pallbearers for Mr. Davis were Harman Griffin, Arthur Abram, Jimmy Abram, 
Jimmy Davis, Lavell Davis, Darrell Davis. Honorary pallbearers were Ryan Davis,
Lynon Britt, Van Abram, T.J. Davis, Corey Davis, Fredric Abram, Ronnie Fantroy,
Fredric Davis.

Emanuel Funeral Homes of Teague was in charge of the arrangements.
