   Mr. J. P. Davis, who lived one-half mile east of Young, fell from his front 
porch Thursday evening [16th] and broke his neck, dying in about two hours. Mr. 
Davis was 80 years old and leaves a wife and three sons and two daughters to mourn 
his loss. He was buried in the Rehoboth cemetery Friday evening.
