Effie (Cormier) Davis

Mass for Mrs. Effie Davis, 89, of Wortham, will be Wednesday morning at 10
o'clock in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rosary will be this evening at 7 o'clock
at Porter Funeral Home Chapel-Mexia with Carlo Benjamin P. Magnaye, MF,
officiating. Burial will be in Wortham Cemetery.

Mrs. Davis, born Feb. 7, 1916, was a Homemaker. She died Sunday in her
residence.

Surviving are her husband, Luther Davis of Wortham; a son and daughter-in-law,
Ronald and Kathy Davis of Canberra, Australia; two daughters and sons-in-law,
Mondell and Jim Kinney of Onalaska, and Fay and John Tacker of Wortham; a
brother, Howard Cormier of Bridgeport; seven grandchildren and 13
great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Michael Dunn, David Brubaker, Dwight Cherry, Glenn Jones,
Robert Palmer, Randy Goolsby and Charles Yelverton.
