LURA B. RUSSELL DAVIS, 78, of Splendora passed away Friday July 2, 1999. Born 
in Fairfield, Texas on August 23, 1920. Preceded in death by husbands, William 
C. Russell and Max Davis, 1 sister and 2 brothers, mother, father, and 
grandson. Gregory Cook. Survived by daughters, Shirley Cook, Joyce Sprayberry, 
Carol and husband Wilson Sparks. Grandchildren: Rickey Dean, William 
Sprayberry and wife Brenda, Lyndon Sprayberry and Jeanette, Stephanie and 
husband Sidney Pye, Rocky Sparks, Jason Sparks and Misty Sparks. Son-in-law: 
Harold Sprayberry, 3 great grandsons, 1 great granddaughter, special friend, 
Evelyn Sprayberry, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of
friends. Funeral services 12 Noon Tuesday, July 6, 1999, Rosewood Chapel. 
Interment to follow South Park Cemetery.
