"Damon L. Carter Jr. 

QUANAH - Damon L. Carter Jr., 46, died Tuesday, July 29, 2003.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
John Spangler, minister of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be
in Quanah Memorial Park.

Mr. Carter was born Oct. 31, 1956, in Tulia. He and Doris Crosby were married
on Oct. 2, 1978, in Fairfield.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Stephanie Graham of Fairfield,
Donna Zwierzchowski of Fairfield, Melissa Tate of Quanah and Charlsie Riley of
Bryan; two sisters, Patti Taylor of Grapevine and Prissy Stanley of Big Spring;
and five grandchildren."
