Inez (Brotherton) DeBerry
Jan. 11, 1914 — May 15, 2003

TEAGUE — Services for Inez Brotherton DeBerry, 89, of Teague were held Sunday
at the Eighth Avenue Baptist Church in Teague.

Burial was in the Mexia Cemetery.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home in
Teague.

Mrs. DeBerry died Thursday in Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia.

She was born in Jewett and attended Sardis and Jewett schools. She was retired
from the Mexia State School and was a member of the Eighth Avenue Baptist
Church.

Survivors include her husband, Wiley DeBerry of Teague; two daughters and
sons-in-law, Ernestine and Glen White, and Nelda and Eddie DeZell, all of
Pasadena; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Chloe Brotherton of
Buffalo, Pete and May Brotherton of Dallas and Clovis and Jessie Brotherton of
Livingston; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces,
nephews and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the
Eighth Avenue Baptist Church in Teague.
