Oscar Neil DeZelle

Graveside services for Oscar Neil DeZelle, 63, of Mexia, were conducted this 
morning (Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006) at 10 o’clock in Greenwood Cemetery at 
Teague. Pastor Richard Gillet officiated. Arrangements were under direction of 
Porter Funeral Home of Mexia.

Mr. DeZelle, who headed the Maintenance Department of the Mexia Independent 
School District, died July 31, 2006, at his residence. He was born on Sept. 20, 
1942, in Teague.

Surviving are his father, Donald DeZelle of Teague; a sister and brother-in-law, 
Geannie and Phillip Boaz of Tyler; two aunts, Datha Crutchfield and Kathleen 
Hager, both of Mexia; and two uncles, Edward Leon DeZelle of Pasadena and 
Glendon O. DeZelle of Waco.
