Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Teague Chronicle - April 12, 1907 T. W. Downey, Dead Last Friday Mr. T. W. Downey was taken with a chill which developed a case of black jaundice in its worse form of which he died Tuesday morning. Three or four months ago Mr. Downey moved here from Palestine and was a carpenter by trade which trade he has followed since he was in Teague. Mr. Downey made many friends during his short stay here, who sympathize with the wife and three children whom he left to mourn his death. He was buried Wednesday morning in the Teague Cemetery under the auspices of the Carpenters Union of which order he was a member. Rev. J. W. Goodwin conducted the service.
