Dottie Ruth (McAdams) Orand 

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 1977, in the
Delhomme Northside Chapel for Mrs. Williford Orand, the former Dottie McAdams,
who died at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 1977, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital
in Lafayette, Louisana.

Rev. Glen Wagnon, pastor of Northside Baptist Church officated.

Interment was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Orand, born March 16, 1930, was a native of Fairfield and had been a
resident of Lafayette for the past 18 years.

Survivors include her husband, Williford Orand of Lafayette, her father, Alvin
McAdams of Fairfield, one daughter, Miss Janet Orand; one son, Steve Orand both
of Lafayette; five sisters, Mrs. Earl (Myrtle) Walthall and Mrs. Willis
(Verdie) Cannon of Fairfield, Mrs. Judd (Callie) Brown and Mrs. Walter (Mary)
Bonner of Teague and Mrs. Herman (Ruby) Willard of Houston; four brothers,
Marshall McAdams and Richard McAdams of Pasadena and Bobby McAdams of
Fairfield.

Pallbearers were Glenn Wheeler, Mac Broussard, Allen Menard of Lafayette, Danny
Bonner of Houston, Ricky Cannon and David McAdams of Fairfield.

The Delhomme Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Attending services from Fairfield were:  Mr. and Mrs. David McAdams, Delia Bell
McAdams, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Cannon, Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Cannon, Mr. and Mrs.
Eddie Orand and Mr. and Mrs. Dwain York.
