Joseph William Dunlap
                                      
LLANO - Joseph William Dunlap, 77, died Thursday, Aug. 14, 1997, in Valley
Spring. Memory service will be at 11 a.m. today in the
Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home Chapel.

He  was  born  Feb.  4,  1920,  in  Freestone County and had been a resident of
Valley Spring for more than 10 years. He owned a TV and appliance repair
business and was of the Primitive Baptist faith. 

Survivors  include  his  wife, Flossie Dunlap of Llano; a daughter, Jaunice
Strother of Dallas; a son, Terry D. Dunlap of Round Rock; a sister,  Estelle
Foster of Carlsbad, N.M.; and a grandson, Anthony Britt Wells of Snyder.
