Rayford Dunlap 

  Funeral services for Mr. Rayford Dunlap, 84, will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 
2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Bro. Randy Barger will 
officiate. Interment will follow the services at Cotton Gin Cemetery.
  Visitation was on Monday with the family present from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. 
at the funeral home.
  Mr. Dunlap passed away on Friday, June 14, 2013, at East Texas Medical Center 
in Fairfield.
  He was born in Teague on June 25, 1928, to Hugh & Ethel Dunlap. Mr. Dunlap 
served for five years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He married Laverne 
Baldree on August 22, 1952, and shared over sixty years together. Mr. Dunlap was 
a barber for over thirty years and owned & operated his own shop in Teague. He 
was an accomplished fisherman and enjoyed hunting, especially hunting anything 
with dogs. Mr. Dunlap was a member of the Teague Church of Christ. 
  He is survived by his wife, Laverne Baldree Dunlap of Teague; one sister, 
Ruthie Smith of Granbury; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends 
including two special friends, Randy Barger and Leslie Brown both of Teague.
  Mr. Dunlap was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Claudie 
Dunlap and Hugh Dunlap, Jr.
