WORTHAM, Freestone Co., Tex., Feb. 26 - Mr. Jas. Dunn, aged 79 years, died 
to-day.

Uncle Jimmie Dunn, living five miles north of Wortham, returned thanks as usual
at the breakfast yesterday morning and when he finished he remarked to his
family that he would never again return thanks at that table. After drinking a
cup of coffee he asked to be excused and left the table and went into his room
and in less than fifteen minutes he was dead. He was among the first settlers 
in this country and leaves a wife and several children to mourn his death. He
was 78 years old. His remains are interred in the Woodland Cemetery today.
