Billy Ray Durham

Services for Billy Ray Durham, 61, of Dallas, and formerly of Fairfield, will 
be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hemphill Church of God in Christ in Fairfield. 
Burial will follow at Fairfield Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. L.J. Manning 
officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Emanuel Funeral Home, Teague.

Mr. Durham died Wednesday in Dallas.

He was born Jan. 16, 1941 in Freestone County to Tommy and Ruby Jo Compton Durham.

Mr. Durham was a Baptist and attended Fairfield public school.

He was preceded in death by his father; and his brother Morris Durham.

Mr. Durham is survived by his children, Jackie Jones of Cedar Hill, Vonita 
Jefferson of Lancaster, Billy Bernard Durham of Mexia and Darryl Dixon of 
Richardson; his mother, Ruby Jo Durham of Fairfield; brothers, Tommy Durham of 
Los Angeles, John Lee Durham, Ricky Durham and Bobby Durham, all of Fairfield, 
Ike Durham of Carson Calif.; sister, Sandra Harrison of Oakwood; and a host of 
grandchildren.
