Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Obituary of Harry S. Eades (1884-1886) Fairfield Recorder - Dec. 3, 1886 DIED At the residence of his parents in Fairfield, Texas, November 30, 1886, Harry S. only child of Mr. W. G. and Mrs. M. L. Eades, aged 2 years and 3 months. Sad indeed was this visitation of death to the parents upon who it has fallen so heavily. Thrice has their home been gladdened with the sunshine of baby faces and the music of childish voices, but each little bud of infant promise has been cut down by the sickle of death. Hard indeed it was for the loving parents to give up little Harry, in whom they had so many fond anticipations; watching his growth and development, day by day and month by month. But disease came, and their little boy faded like a tender flower, till death ended the last scene. The bereaved parents, who have been in our town, only a few months, have the deep sympathies of all in this the sad hour of their sorrow. The remains of the deceased were interred in Fairfield Cemetery, Tuesday evening at 4 o'clock, Rev. J. S. Groves, of Cotton Gin officiating at the grave.
