Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Mexia Daily News February 11, 2008 Obituary for 02-09 Lucille Eddy Lucille Eddy passed away February 7, 2008 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Porter Chapel in Wortham, with Reverend Don Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Wortham Cemetery. Family visitation will be Saturday evening from 4-6 p.m. at the chapel. Mrs. Eddy was born on October 12, 1914 in Christine, Texas to Conrad and Trudy Hygeine Jackson Kleinschmidt. She spent most of her younger years in the Pisguah Ridge and Curry area. She graduated from Tehuacana School in 1931. Lucille Married Fred Eddy on October 25, 1931. She retired as a ward attendant at the Mexia State School. Mrs. Eddy is survived by her daughter, Patsy Fountain, of Mexia; Granddaughters, Andrea Monk & Husband, Bill, of Liberty, Texas & Mitzi Eves and husband, Tommy, of Celina, Texas; Great Grandchildren, Aimee Shelton and husband, Daryl, of Huffman, Tx.; Jaime Tellez & husband, Tim, of Dayton, Tx.; Asa Monk and wife, Mandi, of Dayton, Tx.; Katelyn & Kevin Monk of Liberty, Tx.; Oliver & Olivia Eves of Celina; Great-Great Grandchildren; Ethan & Erin Shelton of Huffman, Tx.; Clayton & Austin Tellez of Dayton, Tx.; & Brianna & Grace Monk of Dayton, Tx.; Brother-in-law, Billy Eddy of San Antonio, Tx.; Numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Conrad & Trudy Hygeine Kleinschmidt; husband, Fred Eddy & son-in-law, Curtis A. Fountain.
