Trinity County obituary - unknown newspaper - unknown date

"ERNEST FAILS [sic. FAIL] - died December 1st 1946 [death certificate lists 
death on Nov. 30, 1946] at the home of his sister, Mrs. Lewis Tyrus [sic. 
Louis Tyus]. He was buried at Fairfield Dec. 3rd.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hattie Fails of Groveton, two children: 
Gerold and Sue also of Groveton.  Five brothers, Fred Fails of Fairfield, 
Bill, Georgie [sic. George], Dickson and Lenord [sic. Leonard] of Jacksonville. 
Three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Tyus of Tunner [sic. Turlington] Town, Mrs. Onie 
Chancer [sic. Mary Chancellor] of Houston and Mrs. Onie Chancer [sic. 
Chancellor] of Fairfield."
