      DIED
  Mrs. Elliott, mother-in-law of Capt. G. W. Ingram, near Cotton Gin, died last 
Friday. The deceased was a resident of Hill county, and had been on a visit of 
several months to her daughter, Mrs. Ingram. She had been ill several weeks and 
was up again walking about a little, when she received a fall, breaking her thigh 
and causing her death about a week afterwards. Mrs. Elliott, we learned was 90 
years old last January, and was probably the oldest person in the county. Her 
remains were interred in Cotton Gin Cemetery.
