Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Mexia Daily News - Aug. 12, 2003 edition Jarah Lee Daniels Proctor English Funeral services for Mrs. Jarah Lee English, 81, of Fairfield, were held Monday morning at 11 o'clock in True Vine DOXIA Center, Fairfield. Burial was in Fairfield Baptist Cemetery, under direction of Emanuel Funeral Home of Teague. She died Thursday in Parkview Regional Hospital, and was born Nov. 12, 1921, in Fairfield. She attended Butler Community School and was married in 1942 to Carl Daniels. She later was married to Frank Proctor, and then to Clinton English, who died June 17 of this year. Mrs. English was a retired employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, and had been an active member of Pyburn No. 1 Church of God in Christ at Fairfield. She also was a member of the Magnolia Burial Club. She was preceded in death by all three of her husbands; a daughter, Ruth Daniels Moore; three brothers, O.D. Turner, Jr., another Turner and Justin Turner; and by four sisters, Gladys Barnes, Tilda Fantroy, Mecadee Turner and Ana Lee Cooper. Surviving are an adopted daughter, P.A. Rischer of Fairfield; a brother, Hugh Turner of Dallas; a sister, Bessie M. Keeton of Houston; 54 grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren; 11 step-children; many nieces and nephews; two daughters, Mary Shed and Cynthia Shed, both of Fairfield; and seven sons, Carl Daniels, Jr., and Harold Daniels, both of Fairfield, Ralph Daniels of Lancaster, Howard Daniels, William Daniels and Robert Daniels, all of Dallas and Jimmy Daniels of Mexia.
