Deacon Roy Mack English

Roy Mack English, 87, of Corsicana passed away Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2005, in
Corsicana.
Services will be 1 p.m. today at Sixth Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. K.D.
Davis and the Rev. Larry Polk, pastor of Second Mission Baptist Church,
officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert Washington, Gregory Stovall, Harold Wilson, Emmanuel
Wilson, Danny Harris and Tinnis Manning. Honorary pallbearers will be Chester
Jones, James Borkchum, Charles Yarbrough, Nathaniel Walton, Woodrow English,
Lee Alvin English and James Mack English.
Mr. English was born Dec. 20, 1917, in Fairfield. He served as a deacon at
Second Mission Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Margie Lee Grayson English of Corsicana; sister,
Pauline Huckaby of Corsicana; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
