BETTY JO ERSKINE


Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jo Erskine, 84, of Mexia, were held on Friday,
May 25, 2007, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Patterson 
officiated and interment followed at Big Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Erskine was born on October 5, 1922, in Little Elm to Authur Dee and 
Lessie Enola Ford Patterson and passed away on May 23, 2007, in a local 
nursing home.

She was a LVN and retired after working at the Mexia State School for 20 years.
She was a longtime resident of Limestone County.

Mrs. Erskine was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Robert Reed
Erskine and Leon McKinney, her brother C.O. Patterson and her sisters Eula Mae
Pippin and Dee Alva McConnell.

She is survived by her sons Rodney D. Erskine of Sugarland and Gary Stovall 
Erskine of Pasadena, her grandchildren Robert Michael Erskine and wife Deanna 
and Brittany Elise Erskine and her great granddaughter Lauren Lacey Erskine.

Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home of Mexia was in charge of the arrangements.
