Fairfield Recorder - July 29, 1892

DIED - Mr. Charley H. Evans, formerly of this county, who went to California 
some years ago from near Oakwoods, died last week.  The deceased was a 
brother of Mr. J.C. Evans and Mrs. J.H. McIlveen, of Fairfield.  The deceased
lived here several years ago, and went from here to Oakwoods.  He left a wife
and two or more children in California, who will probably remain there as Mrs.
Evans’ father has also moved to that state.
