Sidney Johnson Evans (Roxie Emma Ivy)  b 02 Feb 1872 Angelina Co., TX; m 24 Jun
1888 at Fairfield; d 05 Apr 1916; buried at Antioch Cemetery (near Turlington)]

Fairfield Recorder newspaper - 7 Apr 1916 edition:

John Ivy, of Kingsville, come in Monday to see his sister, Mrs. Sid Evans, who
is quite ill at her home east of Fairfleld.  Later--Just as we go to press, we
learn of Mrs. Evans death which occurred Wednesday night.

CARD OF THANKS.  We take this method of thanking the many friends and relatives
for the kindness shown us during the illness and death of our beloved wife and
mother.  We are willing to do anything in our power for you and it is our wish
that you command us.  It is impossible to express our feelings in words in our
hearts.  We feel that God will reward you.  May God's richest blessings rest
