Funeral Services Held in Palestine for R.C. Evans
Funeral services were held at the First Methodist church in Palestine Sunday
for Ross Clayborn Evans, 71 who died at his home in Palestine Friday at 7:55
p.m.  burial took place at Roselawn Park.

Mr. Evans was born in Wortham, June 14, 1890.  A salesman for many years, he
was engaged in the furniture business.

Survivors include his wife of Palestine; two daughters, Mrs. Frnk P. Lemacks of
Palestine and Mrs. Waymon Mitchell of Houston; two grandsons and a sister, Mrs.
Lura Mae Ezell, of Bellflower Calif.
