Ethel "Sister" (Price) Vaughn

Ethel "Sister" Price Vaughn, 64, formerly of Abilene, died Sunday in a local
nursing home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Ash Street Baptist Church with the Revs.
W.M. Vaughn and Robert Giles officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill
Cemetery, directed by Curtis-Starks Funeral Home, 542 E.N. 7th.

Mrs. Vaughn was born in Teague, where she attended Booker T. Washington High
School. She married Walter H. Vaughn in 1949 and was a member of Teague First
Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Valerie Robertson of Fort Worth; her mother,
Mattie Williams of Houston; four brothers, Steve Price of San Antonio, Walter
Price of Houston, Franklin Williams of Henderson and Billy Williams of Dallas;
two sisters, Carol Holmes of Dallas and Lou Barnes of Houston; one grandchild;
and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
