Obituary for Christine Elaine (Minchew) Ezell 

Elaine Ezell, 60, of Fairfield, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016 in Waco. 
Christine Elaine Minchew Ezell was born July 1, 1956 in Mexia, Texas to parents 
John and Mary Schuster Minchew.  She was a graduate of Mexia High School and 
earned a floral design degree from TSTI in Waco.  She worked for a period of 
time at Mexia State School and was retired from Fairfield Independent School 
District.  She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was 
involved in the many youth programs within the church.  Elaine’s favorite things 
besides taking care of and loving her family were garage sales, home decorating, 
and shopping.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, 
Susanne Minchew.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Terry; two children, Natalie Jolliff 
and husband Ralph of Fairfield; SSgt. Alex Ezell and wife Amy of Edwards AFB, 
California; two brothers, Steve Minchew and wife Theresa of Pt. Enterprise; 
Raymond Minchew and wife Deanna of Mexia; two sisters, Margaret Garvin and 
husband Paul of Mexia; Gwen Navarro and husband Lupe of Pleasanton, Texas; six 
grandchildren.

Wednesday July 6, 2016, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Capps Memorial Chapel

Thursday July 7, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at Capps Memorial Chapel

Interment
Thursday July 7, 2016 at Chancellor-Union Cemetery
