(Buddy) Ferguson, 76, of Mexia, were held on Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at Blair-Stubbs Chapel in Mexia, Texas. Rev. Brad Brittain officiated with interment following at LaSalle Cemetery. Mr. Ferguson was born on September 16, 1930, in Freestone County to Arthur Everett and Lola Inez McClaran Ferguson and passed away on May 13, 2007, at his residence. He was a farmer, rancher and barber and served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Mexia and the VFW. He is survived by his wife Martha Agnes (Aggie) Ferguson of Mexia, his sons Steve Ferguson of Mexia, Gary Bell of Port Lavaca, his daughters Rhonda Jarrell of Mexia, Lisa Stone of Brownwood, Sharon Hawthorn of Buffalo, Bennie Gardiner of Mexia. His grandchildren Amber Bass, Brandon Ferguson, Windy Jarrell, Chad Jarrell, Jermey Stone, Jered Stone, Jason Stone, Robert Beard, Chris Hawthorn, Marshall Bell, Lindsey McFall, Clayton Gardiner, ten great grandchildren, his sisters Chelsia Taylor of Mexia, Lola Mae Ferguson of Mexia and Pat Buyher of Kilgore and his brother Cleve Ferguson of Groesbeck also survive Mr. Ferguson. Pallbearers for Mr. Ferguson were Randy Ferguson, Ronnie Ferguson, Gary Ferguson, Lane Taylor, David Bates and Douglas Ferguson. Honorary pallbearers were his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home of Mexia was in charge of the arrangements.
