Mr. Bobby Joe Finch

A memorial service was held Jan. 29 at Carter Funeral Home in Houston for 
Bobby Joe Finch of Houston, formerly of Lane County, who died Jan. 24 of 
cancer and pneumonia. He was 73.

He was born March 2, 1934, in Wortham, Texas, to Jesse and Anna Vancleave 
Finch. He and his wife, Jacqueline, were married in November 1956 in 
California. She died in July 2000.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years and worked as a salesman.

Survivors include a sister, Mary Cranford of Houston; four brothers, Leonard 
of Houston, Jesse of Conroe, Texas, Billy of Ona, S.C., and Frankie of 
Spring, Texas; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. A son, Bobby Dell 
Finch, died previously.
