Lurana (Hayes) Folk 

Services for Lurana Folk, 90, of Fairfield, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Calvary 
Baptist Church in Fairfield with the Revs. Terry Skinner and Donald Pruitt 
officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Chapel Cemetery in Freestone County 
under the direction of Capps Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Folk died Tuesday at her residence. She was born Dec. 13, 1909, in 
Streetman. 

Mrs. Folk was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and had worked as a cafeteria 
worker for the Fairfield school district. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie E. Folk; and sisters, Addie 
Hogan and Mary Compton. 

Mrs. Folk is survived by daughters, Dorothy Barlow of Fairfield and Freida 
Pipes of Andrews; son, Joe Neil Folk of Kirbyville; 10 grandchildren; 22 
great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. ...
