Charles Jackson Folmar

C. J. Folmar Rites Thursday

Charlie J. Folmar, 94, a native of Alabama, died Tuesday night in Memorial 
Hospital. He had been a resident of Texas for the past 73 years. He was a retired 
farmer and a member of the Baptist Church.

Funeral services with be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Corley Chapel, with 
interment in the Midway cemetery. The rites will be conducted by the Rev. Obie 
Barton and Masons will have charge of the graveside rites.

Survivors include two sons, Willie Z. Folmar of Bellview and Rex C. Folmar of 
Corsicana; two daughters, Mrs. Ola Fitch and Gertie Lou Burleson, both of 
Corsicana; 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and four great-great-
grandchildren; one brother, James Folmar of Houston and other relatives.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.
