FORCHEIMER

OPAL INEZ FORCHEIMER, 94, of Houston passed away on Monday, October 25, 2004.
Mrs. Forcheimer was born in Freestone County, Texas on November 3, 1909, the 
daughter of John and Mary Nanny. Opal married Leon Forcheimer in 1947 and they 
moved to Houston where she was a school teacher at the Looscan School for 30
years. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, a longtime member
of TPA, along with many other associations. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon, and her brother, Clovis A. 
Nanny. Opal is survived by her nephews, Joe Ed Nanny and wife, Kathy, and 
Jimmy Nanny and wife, Carolyn; niece, Patricia McGee and husband, Cecil; 
numerous great nieces and nephews; close friends, Sara and William McDaniel; 
and many friends and neighbors. 

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on 
Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at Ricks-Bowers Home-owned Funeral Home, 
in Teague, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, 
October 28, 2004 in the Union Cemetery in Freestone, Texas with Brother Paul 
Gauntt officiating.
