Mexia Daily News - Oct. 7, 2005 edition Kenneth Wayne Freeman Funeral services for Kenneth Wayne Freeman, 41, of Teague, will be held Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 11:00 am in the First Baptist Church of Mexia. Pastors Marcus Sheffield and Lewis Peoples, Jr. will officiate. Born on September 22, 1964, in Dallas, Texas, to Billy Jack & Dorothy Jean Palmer Freeman, Sr., Kenneth attended and received his education at Mexia Jr. High, and later he moved to Dallas, and attended school there. Kenneth accepted Christ at an early age and united with Mexia Revival Center, and later joined God’s House of Prayer. Kenneth married Stelle Freeman, no children were born to this union. Later Kenneth married Lisa Williams, this union was blessed with three children - a daughter, a son and one stepson. Kenneth loved to sing, he wrote songs, music was his joy. On Sunday, October 2, 2005, in Galveston, Texas, Kenneth went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is preceded in death by his daughter: ShayKyra Danielle Freeman. He is survived by his wife: Lisa Williams Freeman, Teague; Parents: Billy Jack & Dorothy Jean Freeman, Sr.; a son, Joquan Dontrell Freeman; a stepson, Decovan Kadell Echols; one brother, Billy Jack (Dametron) Freeman, Jr., and wife LaShawn Freeman, Dallas, Texas; 2 Sisters: Myra Brown, Duncanville, Texas, Sharon (Bonny) Aubrey, Dallas, Texas. A host of Uncles, Aunts, other relatives and friends. Emanuel Funeral Home of Teague is in charge of arrangements.
