Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Mexia Daily News August 16, 2007 Charlie French WORTHAM - Charlie French, 87, of Wortham, died Tuesday, August 14, 2007, at his residence. He was a retired operator with the Shell Oil Chemical Plant, and was born on September 6, 1919, in Waco. Funeral services will be Friday afternoon (August 17, 2007) at 2 o’clock in First United Methodist Church of Wortham. Officiating will be the Rev. Don Johnson. Burial will be in Wortham Cemetery, under direction of Porter Chapel- Wortham. Visitation is scheduled for this evening (Thursday) from 6 until 7 o’clock in Porter Chapel. Surviving are his wife, Dottie French of Wortham; a son and daugher-in-law, Chuck and Jeanie French of Spring; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Ed Ephlin of Wortham; grandchildren - Chad French and wife Lynn of LaPorte, Heather Seibert and husband Bobby of Kyle, Corbett French of Spring, Morgan Ephlin and wife Jill of Wortham; great-grandchildren - Skyler Seibert, Archer French, Aidan Seibert, Chance French and Kendal Ephlin; a brother and sister-in- law, Jimmy and Gwin French of Kosse; a sister and brother-in-law, Katheryn and Don Phillips of Waco; and many loving and caring nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Bobby Seibert, Chad French, Corbett French and Morgan Ephlin. Honorary pallbearers are Calvin Prowell, Leslie Brooks and Albert Armer.
