Hugh Ellison Fryer, 72, of Fairfield, passed away Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, in
Fairfield. 

Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Round Prairie Baptist Church in
Fairfield with Rev. Ed Ridge officiating. Interment will follow at Post Oak
Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Jim Sneed, Jessie Earl Jones, Roy Hill, Scott Newberry,
Kevin Carroll, Jerry Don McLeod, Bobby Childs and John Jarvis. Honorary
pallbearers will be Lynn Whiteside, Joel A. Bonner, Bowie Mullin, Johnny
McLeod, Roy Casey, Jr., Roy Casey III, Bobby Daniel, Bill C. Glazner, Ralph
Dials, Scott Holmes, Mike Hurley, Men's Sunday School Class and the Derr camp. 

Mr. Fryer was born Jan. 6, 1928 in Freestone County. The rancher was a member
of the Round Prairie Baptist Church. 

Mr. Fryer is survived by his wife, Mackie Fryer; his son and daughter-in-law,
Hugh "Hubie" Jr. and Daphne Fryer; brother and sister-in-law, F. B. and Lena
Mae Fryer; sister-in-law Alba Fryer; grandson Jeffrey Kyle Fryer; and special
child, Kacie ReNae Carroll, all of Fairfield.
