Freestone County, Texas Obits Omer Paul Fulton (March 31, 1914 - April 2, 2007) Omer Paul Fulton Funeral services for Mr. Paul Fulton were held on Thursday, April 5, 2007, at 2:00p.m. at First Baptist Church in Teague. Bro. Darrel Beggs officiated. Interment followed the services at Post Oak Cemetery near Donie. Mr. Fulton passed away on Monday, April 2, 2007 at Providence Hospital in Waco. He was born to James Paul and Para Richardson Fulton in Donie on March 31, 1914. He was a life long cattle rancher. Mr. Fulton was witness to numerous advances in transportation, communication, and other improvements in every day living during his life span. He was blessed beyond most with being able to do the things he loved. He was a true people person. Mr. Fulton was a member of the First Baptist Church in Teague. He is survived by two daughters, Margaret Lindsey & husband W.L. and Beth Cooper & husband Jimmy all of Teague; three grandsons, Tim Hedrick & wife Lea, Warren Hedrick & wife April, and Wade Cooper & wife Melanie all of Teague; two granddaughters, Melanie Holmes & husband Scott of Teague and Libby Goolsby & husband Jamie of Wortham; thirteen great- grandchildren, Paul Hedrick, Allyson Holmes, Megan Hedrick, Grant Holmes, Emily Holmes, Kirby Cooper, Trevor Cooper, Lanie Goolsby, Maggie Goolsby, Ross Mathison, Ryan Mathison, Reagan Mathison, and Reid Krenek; sister, Etta Nix of Teague; brother-in-law, Weldon Ivy & wife Sue of Houston; friend, Jerry Gelston of Teague; numerous other relatives and friends.
