Eunice Eppes Fulton

Funeral services were held yesterday for Eunice Eppes Fulton, 87, of Corsicana who died 
last Saturday.

Mrs. Fulton was born in Freestone on Nov. 19, 1920, to Lewis and Cora Eppes.

She attended Freestone high school and graduated valedictorian in the class of 1938.
Mrs. Fulton was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed square dancing, 
crocheting, quilting and crafting.

Services were conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague.
Interment followed at Union Cemetery.

Mrs. Fulton is survived by daughters Shirley Nanny of Corsicana, Jean Schroeder and 
husband Mel of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and Tanya Michalies and husband Kelly of 
Billings, Montana; son Charley Ray Ellis and wife Dianne of Tellico Plains, Tennessee; 
grandchildren Robert Mark and Randy Nanny, Jason Ellis, Tracy Greenlee, Roger and 
Terry Beebe, and Zackery Tice; eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great-
grandchildren; brother Lewis Dean Eppes and wife Mary of Arlington; two nieces and 
one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Arthur Fulton; son Roger Lane Ellis; 
parents Lewis and Cora Eppes; brother Eddie Herschel Eppes and her infant sister. 

Arrangements were made by Bowers Funeral Home of Teague.
