Barney Lee Galaway

Barney Lee Galaway, 101, of Corsicana passed away Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003 in
Corsicana.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jim Anderson 
officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.

Mr. Galaway was born May 19, 1902 in Freestone County. He was a member of the 
Baptist church. He loved to play dominoes and bingo. He worked as a custodian 
with the Corsicana Independent School District for 15 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Galaway and grandson, Bradford 
Wayne Galaway.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law Eddie Lee and Lou Ann Galaway of 
Leonard and Nelson and Laverne Galaway of Corsicana; daughter and son-in-law 
Ann Louise and Art Harkins of Mineola; eight grandchildren; eight great-
grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchildren.
