Monsignor Sameul Metzger officiated. Interment followed at Fairfield Cemetery. Mr. Garbarino died February 27 in Fairfield. Mr. Garbarino was a member of VFW in Michigan and also a past member of the Lion's Club in Michigan. He was born May 11, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan. Mr. Garbarino is survived by his wife Barbara Garbarino and his children, Roberta Broughton and husband Tom of Chelsea, Michigan, Barbara Neary of Houston, James Garbarino, Jr. and wife Mary Helene of Manhanton, Kansas, Robert Garbarino and wife Carolyn of Michigan, Margaret "Peggy" Hickin and husband Wayne of Ohio, Janet Fogarty and husband Richard of Marietta, Georgia, Joseph Garbarino and wife Joan of Saline, Michigan and Steve Garbarino of Tyler. He is also survived by his brothers Bob Garbarino and Arthur "Buster" Garbarino and his sister Betty Cummings. Mr. Garbarino was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Frances Garbarino; son-in-law Leonard Neary; his sisters Pat Lema, Frances Mayhew and Marie Muha and his brother Charles Garbarino. Arrangements were by Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield.
