She lived in Wortham with her husband of 29 years. Linda has three children, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She loved her family very much. She is survived by her husband, Luis Garcia of Wortham; her children - Sharon Foley of Mexia, James and Wendy Mandress of Skitook, Oklahoma, Verdie and Kirk Morphew of Cabot, Arkansas, and Rachel Braiser of Mexia; grandchildren - D.J. and Tiffany Foley of Mexia, Tucker and Amy Mandrell of Skitook, Oklahoma, and Derek, Brianna and James Kirk of Cabot, Arkansas, Brittney and Leo Braiser of Mexia; great-grandchildren - Haley Foley and Aiden Atkins, both of Mexia; sisters - Margie and Joe Bond of Lake Limestone, Stephanie Thomas and Cecil Keester of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Patricia and Tommy Brannon of Chatsworth, Georgia, and Kathy and Larry Tatum of Midland/Odessa area, Texas; a sister-in- law, Isabella and James Millhouse of Austin; brothers-in-law - Joe and Diane Garcia of Mexia, Victor and Jessica Garcia of Mexia, and Frankie Garcia of Laredo, Texas; her mother-in-law, Bacinthia Garcia of Groesbeck; five nieces, six nephews, 10 great-nieces and nine great-nephews. She is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Marion and Georgia Mae Simmons; paternal grandparents, Comer and Anna Vineyard; her mother, Verdie Mae Rawls; her father, Murry Lee Vineyard; father-in-law, Luis Garcia, Sr.; her brother, Jimmie Lee Vineyard; her sister, Nancy Vineyard, and two nephews, Roger Dale Woodall and Troy Luis Blanton. Funeral services for Mrs. Garcia will be held Friday afternoon, February 2, 2007, at 2 o’clock in Porter Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Hall will officiate.
